Driven by innovative development, Wantong Hydraulics is building core advantages in hydraulic cylinders for filter presses.

In response to the trend of solid-liquid separation equipment shifting toward “larger scale, automation, and intelligence,” Wantong Hydraulics has launched a technical upgrade program for hydraulic cylinders used in filter presses. On one hand, the company is developing high-thrust hydraulic cylinders tailored for ultra-large filter presses, leveraging lightweight material technologies to enhance thrust while reducing the cylinder’s own weight, thereby meeting the energy-saving demands of large-scale equipment. On the other hand, Wantong Hydraulics is exploring the integration of smart sensing modules into hydraulic cylinders. By continuously collecting real-time data on pressure, temperature, stroke position, and other parameters, these cylinders can seamlessly connect with the filter press control system to enable early fault warnings and remote diagnostics, thus minimizing equipment downtime. Furthermore, in response to the specific needs of the new-energy sector—such as the separation of lithium-battery materials—the company is developing highly clean and high-precision hydraulic cylinders for filter presses, contributing to the green development of the new-energy industry. Looking ahead, the company will continue to significantly increase its R&D investment, driving the integration of hydraulic cylinders for filter presses with IoT and AI control technologies, and helping the solid-liquid separation field advance toward a new stage of more efficient, smarter, and greener development.
