August 2025 Quick Report on Sales of Major Products in the Construction Machinery Industry

Excavator
According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major excavator manufacturers, 16,523 various types of excavators were sold in August 2025, a year-on-year increase of 12.8%. Domestic sales were 7,685 units, up 14.8% year-on-year; exports were 8,838 units, up 11.1% year-on-year. From January to August 2025, a total of 154,181 excavators were sold, a year-on-year increase of 17.2%; domestic sales were 80,628 units, up 21.5% year-on-year; exports were 73,553 units, up 12.8% year-on-year.
In August 2025, 31 electric excavators were sold (6 units under 6 tons, 3 units between 6 and 10 tons, 2 units between 10 and 18.5 tons, 14 units between 18.5 and 28.5 tons, 2 units between 28.5 and 40 tons, and 4 units over 40 tons).

Loader
According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major loader manufacturers, 9,440 various types of loaders were sold in August 2025, a year-on-year increase of 13.3%. Domestic sales were 4,774 units, up 18.3% year-on-year; exports were 4,666 units, up 8.69% year-on-year.
From January to August 2025, a total of 83,209 various types of loaders were sold, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%. Domestic sales were 44,945 units, up 20.2% year-on-year; exports were 38,264 units, up 5.3% year-on-year.
In August 2025, 2,477 electric loaders were sold (15 units under 3 tons, 117 units at 3 tons, 1 unit at 4 tons, 1,529 units at 5 tons, 720 units at 6 tons, 88 units at 7 tons, 3 units at 8 tons, 1 unit over 8 tons, and 3 skid steer loaders).
