According to customs data, China's engineering machinery import and export trade volume in April 2025 was US\$5.377 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12%, of which: imports were US\$226 million, a year-on-year decrease of 2.2%; exports were US\$5.152 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.7%.

In March 2025, China's engineering machinery import and export trade volume was US\$5.167 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.53%, of which: imports were US\$255 million, a year-on-year decrease of 5.85%; exports were US\$4.912 billion, a year-on-year increase of 8.33%.

In February 2025, the total import and export volume was US\$3.503 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 1.11%, of which: imports were US\$222 million, a year-on-year increase of 22.5%; exports were US\$3.281 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.38%.

In January 2025, China's engineering machinery import and export trade volume was US\$4.923 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%.

Of which: imports were US\$196 million, a year-on-year decrease of 2.86%; exports were US\$4.727 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15%.

From January to April 2025, China's engineering machinery import and export trade volume was US\$18.947 billion, a year-on-year increase of 8.51%. Imports totaled US\$877 million, a year-on-year decrease of 0.86%; exports totaled US\$18.07 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.01%.

Calculated in RMB, the export value in April was 36.966 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.6%. From January to April, the export value was 129.738 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%.

The export value in March was 35.231 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.51%. The export value in the first quarter was 92.787 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.99%.

The export value in January was 34.001 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%; the export value in February was 23.558 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.27%. The cumulative export value from January to February was 57.559 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.68%.
