Engineering Machinery Product Import and Export Quick Report, January-February 2025

According to customs data, China's engineering machinery import and export trade volume in January 2025 was US\$49.23 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%.

Of this: imports amounted to US\$1.96 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.86%; exports amounted to US\$47.27 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15%.

In February 2025, total imports and exports were US\$35.03 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 1.11%, of which: imports amounted to US\$2.22 billion, a year-on-year increase of 22.5%; exports amounted to US\$32.81 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 2.38%.

From January to February 2025, China's engineering machinery import and export trade volume was US\$84.26 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.27%. Imports totaled US\$4.18 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.16%; exports totaled US\$80.09 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.17%.

Calculated in terms of RMB-denominated export value, January exports amounted to 34.001 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%; February exports amounted to 23.558 billion RMB, a year-on-year decrease of 1.27%. Cumulative exports from January to February totaled 57.559 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 8.68%.
