"Huaneng Ruichi丨China's First 100-Unit All-Electric Autonomous Mining Truck Fleet Successfully Put into Operation!"

Recently, the on-site launch conference for the global first deployment of 100 unmanned electric mining trucks "Huaneng Ruichi" —— "Huaneng Ruichi Galloping the World" —— was successfully held in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia.
Led by China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd. (Huaneng Group), the "Huaneng Ruichi" project of 100 unmanned pure electric mining trucks was jointly created by an innovation consortium comprising enterprises such as Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (XCMG), Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., and State Grid Smart Vehicle Networking Co., Ltd. This multi-party collaborative innovation model has successfully achieved the world's first large-scale operation of a 5G-A open-pit mine unmanned mining truck cluster, driving the transformation of mining transportation towards "safety, efficiency, greenness, and zero carbon". Evaluated by expert panels, the overall technology of the project has reached an internationally leading level, marking the transition of China's mine driverless technology from experimental verification to large-scale application.
In this major project of industry milestone significance, Shandong Wantong Hydraulic Co., Ltd. undertook the task of tackling key components for intelligent mining equipment, successfully completing the independent research and development and industrial production of the mining truck's hydropneumatic spring system and intelligent weighing system.
The 90-ton pure electric unmanned mining truck adopts a full hydropneumatic suspension system, which demonstrates significant technical advantages over traditional leaf spring structures: its nonlinear stiffness characteristics can adaptively adjust the suspension stiffness coefficient under different load conditions, and through multi-level damping matching strategies, it achieves dynamic vibration reduction efficiency, significantly improving the comprehensive reliability index of the vehicle under complex mining road conditions and effectively ensuring a high daily attendance rate of 21 hours. The vehicle-integrated intelligent weighing and sensing system realizes real-time monitoring of load quality through multi-dimensional sensor fusion technology, and together with a cloud-based big data platform, constructs a digital twin model of load distribution-energy consumption curve-component status, providing an intelligent safety guarantee system for mining transportation operations and helping mining areas achieve the sustainable development goals of electrification and unmanned operation.
Promoting the transformation and upgrading of mining transportation equipment and jointly building a "safe, efficient, green, and zero carbon" smart mine is a shared imperative for the industry.
